Registration and Electoral Office (REO) (Chinese:選舉事務處) is a department under the jurisdiction of the Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. It is also the administrative support organization of the Electoral Affairs Commission (ECC), which assists the implementation of the statutory rights under the Electoral Affairs Commission Ordinance. This includes assisting members of the public to register as electors, dividing constituencies, and formulating electoral regulations and guidelines for election activities. The Chief Executive of Hong Kong, the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, the District Council and the election of village representatives are all managed by the department. However, the department is a logistics department and has no decision-making power on the electoral policy as the decision-making power is vested in the EAC.
