Rubroboletus pulchrotinctus, previously known as Boletus pulchrotinctus, is a bolete fungus of the genus Rubroboletus native to central and southern Europe, from Spain to the Crimean Peninsula, as well as Israel, where it is found in Mount Carmel National Park and Beit Oren. It grows under the Palestine oak (Quercus calliprinos).[1] It was described by Italian mycologist Carlo Luciano Alessio in 1985.
