SLS International Hotel & Residences is a 590 foot Skyscraper located on S. Broad Street in Philadelphia. The 47 story building will hold 125 condos and 151 hotel units. The construction has not yet started as of May 23 and is expected to take two years for Construction to begin. In 2015 demolition at the future home of the SLS International Hotel & Residences is officially underway at Broad and Cypress Street started. Construction is to begin by summer of 2016.
Planning
In 2014 Philadelphia City Council changed the zoning of the 27,187 square foot parcel to CMX-5, the most permissive commercial mixed-use zoning class, so SLS International needs no variances, and will not have to appear before the full Philadelphia City Planning Commission. [1]
