Segeberg – Stormarn-Mitte

Segeberg – Stormarn-Mitte is one of the 299 single member constituencies used for the German parliament, the Bundestag. One of eleven districts covering the state of Schleswig-Holstein, it covers most of the district of Segeberg and parts of the Stormarn district.

The constituency was created as Segeberg – Stormarn-Mitte for the 2002 election. It assumed its current name, on unchanged boundaries at the 2013 election. Since its creation the constituency has been won by the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). The current representative is Gero Storjohann.[1]

Boundaries

The constituency consists of the Segberg district, with the exception of the town of Bad Bramstedt and the collective municipalities of Bad Bramstedt-Land and Boostedt-Rickling. It also includes the towns and municipalities of Ammersbek, Bad Oldesloe, Bargteheide and Tangstedt as well as the collective municipalities of Bad Oldesloe-Land and Bargteheide-Land.[2]
