The Catapult moth (Serrodes partita) is a moth of the Erebidae family. It is found in western, eastern, central and southern Africa,[1] Australia, India, Indonesia (Borneo, Java) and Sri Lanka.[2]
They feed on fruits as Prunus persica (peach), Sapindus saponaria (western soapberry), Sapindus trifoliatus (threeleaf soapberry),[3] Oleaceae (Jasminum sp.), Sapindaceae (Pappea sp.) and Malvaceae (Grewia sp.)
The wingspan of the adults is approximately 60 mm.
