Shah Alam is a federal constituency in Selangor, Malaysia, that has been represented in the Dewan Rakyat since 1974.
The federal constituency was created in the 1974 redistribution and is mandated to return a single member to the Dewan Rakyat under the first past the post voting system.
History
2004–present: The constituency contains the polling districts of Setia Alam, Monterez, Taman TTDI Jaya, Shah Alam S 9, Shah Alam S 8, Shah Alam S 1 & S 7, Shah Alam S 6, Shah Alam S 3, Shah Alam S 2, Shah Alam S 4 & S 5, Shah Alam S 10, Shah Alam S 11, S 12 & S 14, Shah Alam S 15 & S 16, Shah Alam S 18 Barat 1, Shah Alam S 18 Timur, Taman Berkeley, Mutiara Bukit Raja, Pangsapuri S 7, Bukit Jelutong U8, Shah Alam S 13, Shah Alam S 18 Barat 2, Bandar Baru Klang, Apartment S 16, Taman Batu Tiga, Kampung Kebun Bunga, Pinggiran USJ, Shah Alam S 26, Shah Alam S 20 - S 23, Shah Alam S 19 Timur, Shah Alam S 19 Barat, Shah Alam S 24, Apartment S 24, Shah Alam S 17 Timur, Padang Jawa, Sungai Rasau, Bukit Kuda, Kampung Kuantan, Taman Kampung Kuantan, Shah Alam S 17 Barat, Rimba Jaya.
