Snauwaert
From Infogalactic: the planetary knowledge core
Snauwaert was a classic Belgian tennis racquet brand and manufacturer. It was founded in 1928 by the brothers-in-law Valler Snauwaert and Eugeen Depla. The company went out of business in 1994. Famous tennis players that used Snauwaert include Vitas Gerulaitis, Evonne Goolagong Cawley, Miloslav Mečíř, Mikael Pernfors and Brian Gottfried.[1]
The Snauwaert Ergonom was one of the most unusual racquets ever produced, featuring a rotated head that allegedly stayed in line with the path of the ball longer than a conventional racquet head.[2]
2016 brand revival
Xenecore, a U.S. composite manufacturer revived the Snauwaert brand in 2016 for its newly designed tennis rackets.
