The college
SVUCE, a constituent college of Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, was established in 1959. The college offers 4-year B.Tech. degree courses in six disciplines, and two-year post-graduate courses with ten specializations with a total intake of 260 in B.Tech. programmes and 180 in postgraduate programmes. The institution achieved autonomous status in 2005.

Alumni Association
The college alumni have presence all over the globe. SVUCE's alumni association was started in 1965. It is formally registered in the year 2001. The association is presided by Er. Bogineni Chenchu Rama Naidu.
