Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes

Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes is a cemetery and funeral home complex in Sacramento, California. It was opened in 1938, as Grant Memorial Lawn, a 12-acre cemetery, eventually becoming a significant burial site for soldiers from World War II. It now covers 94 acres,[1] and is Sacramento's largest dedicated cemetery. It is owned by the Lifemark Group, which also operates Chapel of the Chimes in Oakland and Hayward.[2]

- Danny Nardico (1925–2010), boxer, known for being the only fighter to score a knockdown against Jake LaMotta
