Takekurabe (たけくらべ Takekurabe?) (English titles include: Adolescence, Growing Up Twice, Growing Up, and Child's Play) is a 1955 black-and-white Japanese film directed by Heinosuke Gosho.

It is a film adaptation of Higuchi Ichiyō's 1895-1896 novel Takekurabe.

Production design was made by Kazuo Kubo, sound recordist was Michio Okazaki and lighting technician was Susumu Irie.[2]
