"That's the Way of the World" is a 1990 dance single by British dance producer D Mob featuring singer Cathy Dennis. The single went to number one on the dance charts for one week. "That's the Way of the World" was the second number one dance single for D Mob, where Cathy Dennis performed the vocals and the fourth and final release to reach number one for D Mob. The single also made the Hot 100 and the UK singles charts.

The music video is directed by Howard Greenhalgh.
