The Crossways, Toronto
The Crossways is a mixed-use residential/commercial complex in the west end of Toronto, Canada located at 2350 Dundas Street West (The Crossways A) and 2360 Dundas Street West (The Crossways B), at the northeast corner of the intersection of Bloor Street West and Dundas Street West. It stretches across most of a city block.

Architecture
The complex consists of twin 29-storey (92 m)[1] triangular brick towers, with a broad, terraced podium at their bases. One level of the podium contains an indoor mall. The Crossways was designed in the Brutalist style[2] by architects Webb Zerafa Menkès Housden Partnership[3] and built by Consolidated Building Corporation.[2] It was completed in 1974 as a 111,480 square metre (1.2 million square feet) mixed-use project. The mall's interior is a cohesive and well-maintained series of spaces characterized by strong 1970s design features such as walls clad in brick from floor to ceiling, brown brick floor tiles, lacquered and evenly spaced wood slat ceilings, and massive globe-light lanterns mounted onto the walls.
A 3,900 square metre (42,000 square feet) addition, designed by architect Chris A. Montgomery, added two floors of commercial office space to the roof of the existing complex and connected to the existing retail mall.[4]
Tenants and amenities
The enclosed 7,900 square metre (85,000 square foot) mall at the base of the twin apartment towers has more than 40 stores and services including:
- A branch of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC)
- Jekyl and Hyde Pub
- City of Toronto Public Health department office
- Youth Employment Centre
- Three private vocational colleges—Trebas Institute, Ontario Conservatory of Music, and ICT College
- An indoor swimming pool for tenants
The complex is in close proximity to major public transit facilities such as Dundas West subway station, on the Toronto Transit Commission's Bloor–Danforth subway line. This station is located on the west side of Dundas Street West opposite the complex. Streetcar service runs on Dundas Street West and bus service runs on Bloor Street West, with stops at The Crossways. The West Toronto Railpath passes to the east of The Crossways, separated by the railway corridor where Bloor GO Station for regional commuter trains is located. The GO trains operate between Toronto's Union Station and Kitchener.
