The Open Up and Bleeds is a Swedish rock band formed in 2006.[1] They release their debut EP in 2007[2] on Suicide Records,[3] the same year that they were nominated for "best unsigned band" at Manifestgalan.[4] During 2009 they recorded a full length album produced by Henrik Svensson[5] at Studio Dubious in Stockholm. The name "The Open Up and Bleeds" is a reference to The Stooges' song Open Up and Bleed.

Members: Joel Segerstedt (vocals, guitar), Thomas Meyer (bass), Markus Johansson (lead guitar), Andreas Thunmarker (drums).
