The Secret of the Magic Gourd (Chinese: 宝葫芦的秘密), or The Magic Gourd, is a 2007 live-action/CGI animated movie made by Centro in co-operation with China Movie Co Ltd and Disney.

The Secret of the Magic Gourd is Disney's first CGI/animation full-length feature produced for the Chinese mainland market.

The film has been released on DVD in the United States on January 27, 2009. The English dub of the film features Jim Conroy as the voice of the Magic Gourd & Jake T. Austin as the voice of Rayman.

Summary

[Note: "Pumpkin" is referring to the magic gourd. The Gourd's name is "Bey Blade".]

In a dream of a young student named Raymond Bao, is on a mission in space when meteorites attack derrepente spacecraft, their mission was to rescue the astronauts return to earth. In real life, her grandmother and her sister Sofy awakening because they were late for school and also to say goodbye to his mother who would travel in the train station, friends of Raymond was saying if I study last night. At school he played at Raymond answer math questions, hence the teacher realized that Raymond did not study.

In grades Raymond's friends were angry with him because he had only earned one star (the lowest grade possible). In his dream, Raymond went fishing in a bamboo forest where fish had pumpkin, Raymond was very frightened, until the gourd told him it was calledBey Blade, and it wants to help. It offered him a deal that, if he does not tell anyone about him, Bey Blade will put fish in his bucket as food. Raymond tells Bey Blade that wants to show the fish to his companions, in the park of the school, a friend of Raymond John had frightened him, and Raymond teach them the fish, they wonder how can the goldfish be in a lake, so the teacher suggests to them that should go to the library. Raymond came home, telling the pumpkin to be with the fish, then came Sofy and saw something strange and was chasing him, until he reached his grandmother and told her to bathe and Raymond to do his homework.

The next morning Raymond goes to the library to order the book of marine animals, and the librarian told him that she reserved Fredy before, Bey Blade put the book in the backpack of Raymond, and left like a thief, Raymond tells pumpkin to let it go, but Bey Blade made the book fly away. Raymond and John went to play a type of Damas [Chinese Chess], pumpkin was confused and interpreted a double entrende as Raymond wanting to eat the chips in the game, forcibly feeding one into his mouth. Raymond and Bey Blade were chasing the book of marine animals to swim class, they accepted that they swam very well, Bey Blade noted that with him there'll always be a winner. Bey Blade was cleaning and tidying the room of his master, until he fell asleep. The next morning, Bey Blade Raymond had awakened him, he went to school early, and responded with good math questions and had high scores, and had 9 stars. In swimming class with the help of Bey Blade, he managed to swim far faster, then they left marks on the Raymond house, sticking a poster of swimming class.

Raymond could not make a robot, so Bey Blade made one for the Pumpkin, cut the nails of his master, Raymond was explaining to Bey Blade he wanted to do the fun.
