The Tornados of 1994 came mostly from April to August, when each month had more than 100 outbreaks.
The March 27, 1994 F4 tornado that struck Piedmont, Alabama on Palm Sunday was the third notable Palm Sunday tornado outbreak and the second to take place in the southeastern United States. It was the most notable tornado event of the year, resulting in 40 fatalities, the most since the 1990 Plain Field, Ill., tornado.
Two March tornadoes were rated F4, including the Piedmont, Ala.

April | 205 | The April 1994 tornado outbreak was a widespread tornado outbreak that affected much of the Central and Southern Plains of the United States, as well as the Midwest and the Deep South, from April 25 to April 27, 1994. The outbreak killed at least six people in two states from two different F4 tornadoes near Dallas, Texas and Lafayette, Indiana.

August | 120 | An F3 struck the Aylmer, Quebec area, injuring 15 while destroying and damaging hundreds of homes with damage estimated at $15 million. It was the first F3 tornado in Quebec since the Maskinonge/Pierreville area tornado of August 27, 1991.
