Uatumã Biological Reserve

Uatumã Biological Reserve is a nature reserve around the river Uatumã in the state of Amazonas in Brazil.[1]

The reserve was established in 1990 in the municipalities of São Sebastião do Uatumã and Itapiranga,[2] and covered 560,000 hectares (2,200 sq mi);[3] though the Unión Internacional para la Conservación de la Naturaleza y de los Recursos Naturales (UICN) report of 2010 states it covers 940,358 hectares (3,630.74 sq mi).[4]
