Urimai Por (English: War for rights) is a 1998 Tamil crime film directed by Raja Rajendran. The film features Arun Pandian and Ranjitha in lead roles. The film, produced by Shiva Balajee, had a musical score by Deva and was released on 19 October 1998 as one among many Deepavali releases.

Plot

Raja Mohamed (Arun Pandian), an honest police officer, is the happy head of a family, married to Ranji (Ranjitha). However, he spends much more time at the police station than at home. Chandru (Chandru) and Sumathi are in love, and they arrange to be married. A few day later, however, Sumathi disappears after trying to withdraw all of her money from the bank. Raja Mohamed investigates this odd affair.
