Vik is a locality situated in Simrishamn Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden with 319 inhabitants in 2010.[1]
It is the birthplace of the winner of the 1903 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, Svante Arrhenius, known for creating a mathematical model for the greenhouse effect, for the Arrhenius equation, and for Arrhenius acids/bases.
