The Walton sextuplets were born in Liverpool, England on 18 November 1983 and were the world's first all-female surviving sextuplets, and the world's fourth known set of surviving sextuplets.[1][2] The children are Hannah, Luci, Ruth, Sarah, Kate and Jennie.

The children were born to Graham and Janet (née Timperley) Walton (born 1952) who had been trying to have children for several years and had just been accepted as potential adoptive parents before their thirteenth attempt at fertility treatment bore spectacular results.[3] The children grew up in the family's seven-bedroom home in Wallasey, Merseyside. On 13 June 2011 the sextuplets were featured in the ITV1 programme Moving On.[4]
