Ba'aj is a city and district in the western part of the Ninawa Governorate of Iraq. The leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, was confirmed to have been seriously wounded there by an attack in March 2015.[1]
The city is mainly populated by Arabs.[2]
