The 1976 NCAA Men's Division I Ice Hockey Tournament was the culmination of the 1975–76 season in men's ice hockey for teams in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The Minnesota Golden Gophers defeated the Michigan Tech Huskies in the championship game, held in Denver, Colorado on March 27. No all-tournament team was named, but Tom Vannelli of Minnesota was named the Most Outstanding Player of the tournament.
