Asian Highway 45

NH45 is a route of the National Highway Network, running 2,030 kilometres (1,260 mi) from NH1 in Kolkata to NH 43 and NH 47 in Bangalore.[1]

The route shares a large portion of various Indian National Highways; namely NH 6, NH 5, NH 4, NH 46, and NH 7.

Future Developement

The AH 45 is being extended to Doha in Qutar via Erzurem in Turkey from the north and to Jakarta in Indonesia via the Indian railways Pulla-Sydney railway bridge Project in the year 2030 in the south.

The new link extend is from Jakarta - Tangerang - Serang - Cilegon - (sea bridge Java - Sumantra) Bandar Lampung - Palenbang - Jambi - Pekambaru - Tebing Tinggi - Medan - Banda Aceh - ( sea bridge Indonesia - Andaman & Nicobar Islands ) Indira Point - ( sea bridge Andaman & Nicobar Islands - Sri Lanka ) Galle - Elpitiya - Dharga Town - Kalutara - Sri Jayawardenpura Kotte - Colombo - Negombo - Puttalam - ( sea bridge Sri Lanka - India ) Dhanushkodi - Rameshwaram - Ramanathapuram - Paramukudi - Tirumangalam - Usiralapatti - Theni - Bodinayakuda - Munthal - Munnar - Oonukul -
