Babakina is a genus of sea slugs, aeolid nudibranchs, marine gastropod mollusks in the superfamily Flabellinoidea.[5]
Taxonomy
Babakina is in the subfamily Babakininae within the family Flabellinidae in the taxonomy of the Gastropoda by Bouchet & Rocroi, (2005).[4] Babakina is the type genus of the subfamily Babakininae.[4]
Gosliner et al. (2007)[2] have elevated Babakinidae to the family level with the only genus Babakina.
As of 2012, the World Register of Marine Species (WoRMS) still categorizes this genus in the family Flabellinidae [5]
