Tehsil Bhadra is a city and a municipality in Hanumangarh district in the state of Rajasthan, India. The railway station name is Tehsil Bhadra. Bhadra in colloquial Marwari (a dialect of Hindi) means "The City of Grace". This name comes from the river Raslana Vithrika bhadra. Bhadra was founded by Bhadrak Community on the sangam of Varshvati and Swarnabhadra rivers which was a Janpad/Gantantra. Bhadra's history can be traced from the time of Mahabharata where it was mentioned that Bhadra is in Kurupradesh. Jats after being defeated by Mohmed Gazni in the year 1027 came to Jangalpradesh and rebuilt Bhadra. The town is well connected through a railroad on the Sri Ganganagar-Sadulpur(Rajgarh)-Jaipur line, and through state highways to Hisar and Sirsa in the neighboring state of Haryana.

Gogamedi (Hindi: गोगामेड़ी) is a village of religious importance in the Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan (India), 350 km from Jaipur. A grand fair is held at Gogamedi in August in memory of Gogaji (a Chauhan Rajput from Dadrewa village in Churu district) which runs for one month from the Poornima of Sharvan to the Poornima of Bhadrapad every year. Gogamedi is accessible on NH 65 from Chandigarh; go straight to Hisar (Haryana) (230 km) and from Hisar take the road to Bhadra (80 km) and from Bhadra Gogamedi lies around 20 km on the way to Nohar. From Delhi take the NH10 to Hisar (165 km) and from Hisar take the road to Bhadra-Nohar.

The main cricket stadium in the city, Govt.College Ground has a seating capacity of 3,185 and has hosted State District cricket Football matches. Indoor Stadium, and Railway Cricket Ground are the other sporting areas in the city. The city is represented in the YCC Cricket Cup by Bhadra and Football League.

Bhadra is located on National Highway No.8 connecting Delhi and Jaipur. By RJ Sh 37 links Jaipur with Kota and National Highway 8 links Bikaner. RSRTC operates bus service to major cities in Rajasthan, New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab and Gujarat. The service operates more than 400 regular and low-floor buses. Major bus depots are located at Main Bus Stand, ambedkar chock (at night only) And Sahwa Bus Stand.

Population here is mix of all religions. The famous communities in Bhadra are Jain,Brahman, Jaat, Muslims, Sindhi, Rajput’s, and Agrawal's. In which one of the most Prominent personality is 'Mr.Jhumarmal Nahata' who has surrendered his whole life in the service of Bhadra Citizens. He is Special not only because he has headed the Municipal Board for 3 times(1 time his wife) from 1950 till today but many landmark and basic developments of the city are because of him like Sweet Water for drinking,Electricity and Main Roads in which his some of the patterns followed by whole Rajasthan State (Exp. Waterworks Digging Work). He introduced Street Lights, Dividers between main roads, Creation of Gandhi Park ,Dispersion of waste water from the city to the outskirts and many more Remarkable work which are still remembered. He has always cared for Bhadra People as a Family. Other rich people of bhadra are now big businessmen in Dubai and Saudi Arab, Mumbai, Delhi and some other part of India. They have their own set-up of various businesses. Businesswoman art exports group and The Phoenix Mills are examples of them. Bhadra is also famous for the business of Handicrafts, there are more than 30 handicraft or painters industries in Bhadra. Such as The art palace, Indian art palace & Global Art Exports. There is no Govt. College in City Bhadra But So many Private Colleges are Providing Higher Education Facilities And also Having ITI and Teacher Training Institutes.

As of 2011 India census,[1] Bhadra had a population of 40662. Males constitute 53% (21215) of the population and females 47% (19447). Bhadra has an average literacy rate of 61%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with 60% of the males and 40% of females literate. 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Bhadra is the first and only city in India to offer full free public Wifi.[2]
