Dondaicha-Warwade is a village and a municipal council in Sindkheda Taluka in the Dhule District of Khandesh Region in the state of Maharashtra in India.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[1] Dondaicha-Warwade had a population of 42,393. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Dondaicha-Warwade has an average literacy rate of 71%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 77% and, female literacy is 65%. In Dondaicha-Warwade, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.

History

This town has a great modern history: there is Municipal Council since British government. The first train came here in year 1905 and it is still a major station on the Surat-Bhusawal railway line. In British government, Britain used this place as godowns for their trade goods and later it became a main trade center.It is famous for production and market of chillis.

Gopal Krishna Mandir is a 75-year-old temple. It was established in British Raj by Shankar Maharaj. Every year a fair of kirtans and bhajans is held in this temple since 75 years.

Though Dondaicha is not a Taluka place, still there is Municipal Council existing since 1952. On account of its location and population most of the Administrative facility. Educational facilities, Medical facilities, National Banking facilities, Magistrative Court, Nayab Tahasil office, Private Hospital’s and sub District Hospital are also available. Demographclly Dondaicha is having mixed population and people are Hormoneously living together.
