The bridge arch of the Roman <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pont_d%27A%C3%ABl" class="extiw" title="en:Pont d'Aël">Pont d'Aël</a> in the Cogne Valley, a side valley of the Aosta valley, Italian Alpes. The aqueduct bridge was built in 3 BC. It carried water to agricultural lands and to washings plants of nearby gold and iron mines.
