Hip-hop artist and actor <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_(entertainer)" class="extiw" title="w:Common (entertainer)">Common</a> at a signing for his 2011 memoir, One Day It'll All Make Sense, held at the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tribeca" class="extiw" title="w:Tribeca">Tribeca</a> <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barnes_%26_Noble" class="extiw" title="w:Barnes & Noble">Barnes & Noble</a> in Manhattan on the day of the book's release, September 13, 2011. Beside him is his mother and manager, Dr. Mahalia Ann Hines, whom Common credits for his success. Hines is featured prominently in the book, and was present on the dais during the audience Q&A that preceded the signing.
