Summary

A702 / M74 and A74(M) Road sign.

This very complicated road sign is just as you approach the Motorway junction on the A702 coming from Biggar.

The complication is why does the same stretch of Motorway from Glasgow to Carlisle have two separate numbers. Well it is this junction where the A74(M) becomes the M74 when travelling north or the other way if travelling south...?
