Summary

Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet - Tilt Hammers, near to Beauchief, Sheffield, Great Britain. These two hammers are driven via the waterwheel outside <a href="<a rel="nofollow" class="external free" href="http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2425407">http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2425407</a>">SK3281 : Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet - Waterwheels</a>. This runs the horizontal wooden shaft which operates like a camshaft to run the hammers. They made wrought iron sythes. Behind me is a forge for reheating the metal for further working.
