Summary

We took a short day hike to Spencer Glacier in June 2009; this was part of an Alaskan Railroad (ARR) special offer since the glacier is only accessible by rail. Spencer Lake and Glacier are great but ARR doesn't give you much time to visit; we had to hike 6 miles out and back in about 2 hours - easily doable but it didn't leave much time for exploring and photography. In spite of that, it was a great day. Enjoy.
