Its historical usage is as follows: This logo was shown in conjunction with a similar 'less explosive' logo until it was fully replaced by the latter in November 1983. The latter of which would continue to be used on its own until later being replaced by the famous Central "Cake" logo in 1988.. Further details: This original logo was used by Central Independent Television (now ITV Central) from their launch in 1982. |

Purpose of use |
