Summary
Post card of Ibrahim Pasha and his two sons. They represent the Cherkes ethnic group, part of the Caucasian migration to the Ottoman Empire from the newly conqured Caucasus by the Imperial Russian Army in the 19 th. century. They were later settled in the Arab provinceses of Syria, Jordan, and Palestine. Many have since migrated to Europe, the Americas, and other locations around the world. They served in the Army, especilly during the French Mandate, others lived in towns and the country-side.
