Summary

Ships from four nations are docked along side the U.S. Navy repair ship USS Jason (ARH-1) at the Han Estuary in South Korea on 16 January 1952. The Jason was the flagship of Service Squadron Three which supplied mobile logistic support for United Nations’ naval units. The ships visible are: (L-R)
HMAS Murchison (F 442), an Australian Bay-class frigate;
Almirante Padilla (FG 11), a Colombian Tacoma-class frigate (ex USS Groton (PF-29));
USS Gloucester (PF-22), a U.S. Tacoma-class frigate;
Taedong (PF-63), a South Korean Tacoma-class frigate (ex-USS Tacoma (PF-3)).
