Benvenutus Scotivoli was a Franciscan Bishop of Osimo. Benevenutus was born in Ancona, Italy, but was educated at the University of Bologna, studying jurisprudence along with St. Sylvester Gozzolini. He was archdeacon of Ancona, before being appointed Bishop of Osimo.[1]
