Damian McKenzie (born 20 April 1995 in Invercargill) is a New Zealand rugby union player who plays as a first five-eighth or fullback for Waikato in the Mitre 10 Cup.[1]
Since the beginning of the 2015 season, McKenzie has been contracted to the Chiefs franchise who compete in the Super Rugby competition.[2] He has become a regular starter.
International
McKenzie represented New Zealand Under-20 during the 2014 IRB Junior World Championship scoring 1 try, 7 conversions and 2 penalties in 5 games.[3]
On the 29th of May 2016, Damian was named as an outside back in the New Zealand All Blacks squad for the June Test series against Wales.[4]
