George Beesley

George Beesley (Bisley) (born at The Hill in Goosnargh parish, Lancashire, England, of a Catholic family; died 2 July 1591) was an English Roman Catholic priest. He is a Catholic martyr, beatified in 1987.
Life
He was ordained priest at the English College at Reims, 14 March 1587, and left for England, 1 November 1588. He was captured by Topcliffe late in 1590, and was tortured.
He was executed under the statute of 27 Eliz., in Fleet Street, London.
