KEWB (94.7 FM, "Power 94") is a commercial radio station in Anderson, California, broadcasting to the Northern California, area.
Station History
KEWB airs a Rhythmic/Top 40 (CHR) music format. It has had this format since about 1999. From 1993-1999, it was a country station called B-94.7. From their inception in the mid 80's until 1993, they were a Top-40 station, KEWB or (Power 94), Tad Shackles is the morning drive-time host, and program director Jake Easy hosts the afternoon drive show.
On February 23, 2011, KEWB's sister station in Chico, California, KCEZ changed their format from oldies to top 40, branded as "Power 102". The station's direction is patterned after KEWB.[1]
