Kishore Sahu (22 November 1915 – 22 August 1980) was an Indian actor, film director, screenwriter and producer.[1] He appeared in 22 films between 1937 and 1980.

Early life

Sahu was born in Raigarh district in Chhattiagarh. His father was the Prime Minister under the Raja of Raigarh. He joined the University of Nagpur and took part in the "freedom struggle", completing his graduation in 1937.[2] An interest in writing short stories brought him in contact with cinema, where he initially started as an actor.
