Malay Falls is a rural community located in the Halifax Regional Municipality in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia. It is situated along the East River, 10.9 km north of the Eastern Shore community of Sheet Harbour, Nova Scotia, and immediately south of the community of Lochaber Mines, Nova Scotia. Route 374 runs north-south through Malay Falls. Malay falls is located slightly inland. Malay Falls is located along the Malay Falls Flowage, a flowage of the East River Sheet Harbour. There is a weather station in Malay Falls, as well as a reservoir.
Transportation
Route 374 is the only numbered highway that runs through Malay Falls. 2 local roads also run through the community: Malay Falls-Lochaber Mines Rd. & Loon Loop.
