Parveen Amanullah

Parveen Amanullah is an Indian social activist turned politician and member of the Aam Aadmi Party. Amanullah was a member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly from the Sahebpur Kamal constituency in Begusarai district. She defeated a powerful candidate from Rashtriya Janata Dal and former minister Shreenarayan Yadav.

Amanullah was minister Ministers of State in Nitish Kumar ministry. She is daughter of former Lok Sabha MP Syed Shahabuddin and was offer Janata Dal (United) ticket by Nitish Kumar in 2010 assembly polls.[1][2][3][4]

Amanullah joined Aam Aadmi Party on the eve of the 2014 Indian General elections and was given Patna Sahib (Lok Sabha constituency) but came fourth with 16,381 votes. [5]
