Sanjaynagar is a residential area located in north Bangalore, India. Established in the late seventies, it is now a sprawling locality in Bangalore. Sanjaynagar comprises many colonies, established by the employees associations of N.G.E.F., HAL, CIL, alike. Till date this remains in the vocabulary of the locals.

Sanjaynagar is closer to central business district within 8 km (5 miles) from Bangalore City railway station, Vidhana Soudha and M G Road and is less than 2 km from Outer Ring Road. It is well connected to technical institutions such as M. S. Ramiah Engineering, Rajiv Gandhi Institute Of Technology and hospital, and Indian Institute of Science. It is also close to several important organizations - the headquarters of ISRO being one of them.

Sanjaynagar has a theater called Vibhav theater, which is closed since 2014. Further Sanjaynagar is blessed with many small parks and roads where trees are lined and grown quite a bit. There are schools amany.

Sanjaynagar main road, though narrow at many places, is quite well populated with most things available (grocery, cafe coffee day, cloths store, dry clean, pet store, stationary shops, milk booth, restaurants etc.).
