Biography

Born in Olivenza, was the son of Alonso Lobo and Isabel Mendes Britos.[3] In 1629, Lobo came to Buenos Aires with his wife Juana Valdenebro. The family had arrived from Tucuman, being escorted in the trip by mercenaries hired by the same Lobo.[4]

Ñuño Fernández Lobo established a residence in Buenos Aires, received land grants, and ordered to build a farm in the area Río de Las Conchas.[5]
