A Suitable Girl

A Suitable Girl is an upcoming novel by Vikram Seth, which is a sequel to his 1993 book A Suitable Boy, due for publication in 2016.[1][2] Seth has stated that the book will be set in the present, rather than in 1952 where A Suitable Boy finished, and will therefore be what Seth calls a "jump sequel".[1][2] After Penguin Publisher deciding to back out,[3] the book now will be published in autumn of 2016 by Orion Publishers, who had published A Suitable Boy too.[4]
