Alexandr Magala (born 24 June 1989) is a entertainer,[1] and dancer,[2] a Moldovan born in Orhei, a small town in Moldova. He won Russia's Got Talent and was a quarter-finalist of America's Got Talent and finalist of Britain's Got Talent. He is best known for performing[3] at Britain's Got Talent[4] and for being the semi-finalist of Ukraine's Got Talent and finalist of Italia's Got Talent.[5]
Early life
Magala[6] was born in a poor family from Orhei, a city and the administrative centre of Orhei District in Moldova with a population of 32,000. According to Magala, he never got any support from his family for what he was doing. So, he didn't have good grades in school because he used to love to fight and defend his beliefs and interests. His classmates were telling him, that he’ll be a loser and that gave him stimulus to prove to himself, to his family and others that they are wrong.
Education
Magala [7] moved to capital of Moldova, Chisinau; to study in college right after he got his High School Diploma. He quickly met some friends with whom he started to dance and performed at almost every stage in the city. Magala said that his life became more free and finally he started to follow his hobbies and interests but he wasn't getting paid for his shows.
Career
In 2011, Magala [8] moved to United States of America to follow his dream to Hollywood. without knowing anybody he risked all he had and stayed there. Magala said that his first reward was $4.50, which he got on Hollywood blvd. By performing the art of sword swallowing, Magala was risking his life every second. He added that he was drinking his own blood because his art was hurting him a lot of times from the inside. Sometimes he couldn't eat for days. In 2013, Magala was selected to participate at the TV Show America's Got Talent and became a finalist. America's Got Talent made him very popular in his country by appearing on the national TV, Radio and Newspapers. Magala became more popular.[9] He is a finalist of Italia's Got Talent and the Winner of Russia's Got Talent. Magala also performed at Winter Sochi Olympic Games opening ceremony in 2014.
He was a finalist in the tenth series of Britain's Got Talent. For safety precautions, his performances were pre-recorded.
