At This Point in Time is a jazz album by an eleven-piece ensemble led by Elvin Jones. Tracks 1 to 4 were first issued on the double LP The Prime Element (1976), while tracks 5 to 7 were previously unreleased. The seven tracks were released together for the first time on CD only in 1998. While the bulk of the music is hard-bop jazz, Jan Hammer's electric piano brings in a distinct jazz fusion flavour, and the congas and percussions add an element of Latin and World jazz.
