Bangsjøan is a series of lakes that straddle the borders of the municipalities of Snåsa, Grong, Overhalla, and Steinkjer in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. The southwestern lake is called Ytter-Bangsjøen, the middle lake is Midter-Bangsjøen, and the northeastern lake is Øyster-Bangsjøen. The lakes lie about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) north of the lake Snåsavatnet and about 18 kilometres (11 mi) northwest of the village of Snåsa. The lakes flow together and out through a dam at the northwestern end into the river Bongna.[1]
