Beor is a village and union council[1]situated in the Kahuta Tehsil of Rawalpindi District, of Punjab, Pakistan. Its geographical coordinates are 33° 35' 0" North, 73° 34' 0" East.[2]
Most of the population is Muslim, and belongs to the Janhal clan which claims to be Mughal by origin. Beor is at the centre of a cluster of villages inhabited by the Janhal tribe.[3]

Culture
Majority of villagers are Muslims. There are people from many different castes settled here, but most belong to Janjua Rajpoot.

The basic source of transportation within the village are via taxis and personal bike while the settlers have to choose a public transport for going outside the village.

Beor people are connected with employment outside the city, some have their own businesses, the rest are engaged in agriculture and Majorities are settled in Europe.

Basic health unit Beor is the only health facility in Beor. It is open 24/7 and has one doctor and three lady health visitors along with a community midwife along with other staff who provide general medical and MCH services round the clock.
