His father was a very generous person who, aside being a Sarpanch, ran a tent house in Kharar and never charged even a single rupee from poor especially during the marriage of a daughter. He has always considered his father a great inspiration and a role model for every thing he has done in his entire lifetime. His father’s lessons has made him a generous yet practical human being for whom core values has the utmost importance in his life.

Infrastructure Development

His biggest achievement is to get the status of Chamkaur Sahib changed into a town which was originally known as a village despite being a very important historical / religious place. He also initiated the construction of a Tourist Guest House adjoining Local Canal Rest House at the cost of Rs. 47 lacs.
