Chocz [xɔt͡ʂ] is a town in Pleszew County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Chocz.[1] It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) north-east of Pleszew and 81 km (50 mi) south-east of the regional capital Poznań.
Chocz regain town rights on January 1 2015.[2]
The town has a population of 1,700.
