Choi Sungmin (born on December 7, 1995), is a South Korean rapper, singer, dancer and actor. He is a member of the South Korean boy band SPEED and former member of South Korean Coed group Coed School.

Biography
Choi Sungmin was born on December 7, 1995 in Gwangju, South Korea. He graduated in Anyang High School of Art on February 7, 2014.[1] Sungmin attended Plug-in Music Middle School and entered Joy Dance Academy before training in Core Contents Media.
Career
Predebut
Sungmin made an appearance on SBS's variety show Star King and performing his powerful and amazing dance skills. After seeing his performing Core Contents Media recruited him into the agency. He was became the ten-member of Coed School in August 2010.[2]
Coed School

Sungmin made his debuted as member of Coed School in 2010 with released their digital single "Too Late",[3][4] followed by their second digital single "Bbiribbom Bberibbom" three weeks later.[5] The group was released mini album Something That Is Cheerful and Fresh on October 28, 2010. It features three previously released songs and various remixes.
SPEED

Sungmin debut as a member of Speed in 2012. The group made their first performance on Music Bank on February 17, 2012.[6]
Speed originally was introduced as male unit of Coed School but the group become independent group in 2013 after Core Contents Media stated that they have no plans for Co-Ed School to reform again as both of its sub-units had grown and changed their line-ups to become independent ensembles.
Acting career
Sungmin made his acting debut in the KBS Drama Special "Something Like That", also known as "That Kind of Relationship"[7]
